Origin and Inspiration
Since I was a child, walking has been my way of discovering the world. Every weekend, my mother would take my siblings and me along the trails and hidden corners of our town, among games, laughter, and long conversations filled with stories of our ancestors and their traditions. Learning from nature and our family history became a deep bond that today inspires Hiking Sayulita.
Our trails invite you to walk mindfully, feel the earth beneath your feet, listen to the wind rustling through the trees, and hear the gentle rhythm of the waves. Each path blends nature and culture, teaching respect for and care of the flora, fauna, and traditions that give this land its unique identity.
Through cultural, culinary, and artisanal experiences, visitors create authentic connections with the community, discover its stories, and help preserve customs and legacies that enrich Sayulita. Every step becomes an act of respect, and every story shared is a seed of awareness.
Experience Sayulita with us. Discover, respect, and leave your mark.

About me, your guide
My name is Jair Frausto, a passionate explorer of culture and nature who has made Sayulita his home and walking his way of connecting with what truly matters. My mission is simple yet profound: for every visitor to live experiences that inspire, educate, and leave a lasting mark.
For more than eight years I have explored the jungles, beaches, and ecosystems of this region, learning from its natural richness and from the wisdom of local and indigenous communities.
With a background in Cultural History (UdeG) and ongoing studies in Cultural Tourism and Sustainable Nature (UNAM), I weave together academic knowledge with lived experience: every journey I guide becomes a bridge between research, tradition, and direct immersion in nature.
Before dedicating myself to tourism, I worked as an educator in rural communities, developing cultural and environmental projects. That stage shaped the way I guide today: teaching with simplicity, listening with openness, and creating spaces where knowledge flows from person to person.
I want every step to become a memory, every story shared to awaken awareness, and every visitor to leave not only with photographs, but with the certainty of having been part of something greater: the living story of Sayulita and the promise of a tourism that transforms.
